After not having decent snow for multiple christmases in the past when I come back from a week of skiing in France and am sick of the sight of snow... what happens? We get about 6 inches of snow... This takes the p!ss to be honest... Ah well guess I'll put up my skiing photos and go try and drown my friends in powdery frozen water.

Ok, as you may have guessed I went to see Star Trek the other day... It was AWESOME!!! Now I'm no trekkie right, I'd seen a few episodes here and there, knew a few characters and the typical famous quotes but nothing major... but oh my god that film was amazing. I recommend it without a doubt. Life's going pretty well right now, although I do have exams starting next week and revision isn't going too well as I keep finding distractions like films, my girlfriend or this website: www.televisiontunes.com it's got so many film and tv themes on it you can spend hours and hours on it. Went to see one of my favourite bands last night... the peatbog faeries. They're a celtic fusion folk dance band. It was incredible... so awesome. Bagpipes, fiddles, keyboard, a brass section etc crazy crazy stuff. Was up in Scotland over easter for a week with UOTC, took quite a lot of photos... put some of them in my gallery, check them out! Am off to Hadrians Wall with uni tomorrow on a fieldtrip, we're staying over the road from a pub so all should be fun.
